For sale is a one owner first year 1963 Gibson SG Junior. This is not the newer reissue, it is a vintage 1963 SG Junior All original and in great shape, no cracks, breaks or repairs wich is rare for these early 60s models. The guitar spent a good portion of it's life in the case. Solder joints are un touched, no major dings or marks, literally no fret wear, very low action (1/16th at the 17th fret) with no issues and well intonated. It can sound clean and fine or growl with the best of them. One dog-ear P-90, Kluson tuners, compensated bridge and tons of tone this is a one owner first year SG Junior with the much coveted wide neck, Honduran mahogany and Brazilian fretboard. Some light marks and very light indentations but overall great shape, the original pick guard (not pictured) shows shrinkage and some cracking near the screw holes that is common for guitars 54 years old. A new custom made reproduction guard (pictured) comes with the guitar as well as the original. The finish is vibrant cherry red and shows little or no fading or browning. Comes with new TKL case. Vintage wood at a great price.
