This is something that doesn't come around that that often. A 1971 Mosrite Ventures model with a sunburst finish and is an all original except for the switch tip (post logo guitar) with a V serial number V01xx. This is one that Semie Mosely made for a friend (notice the diamond tuners). These don't usually show up for sale and command very premium prices whenever they do. A true handmade guitar these are the stuff of legends. All original as we said except the switch tip and in great shape, 95% fret life, extremely low action with no buzzes whatsoever but then again that is what these are known for. Ultra thin neck is as straight as an arrow and plays as fast as greased lightning, all tuners, pickups, pots hardware etc. are original, If you've got small hands and want to move around the neck comfortably here's your guitar. This Mosrite features their signature German top carve, two Mosrite pickups with master volume and tone controls, a 3-way switch, Mosrite tremolo tailpiece, and chrome hardware. The Mosrite sound is unmistakable coming from the Mosrite pickups, warm lows, definitive midrange and crystal clear highs. Add a little gain and she'll growl until the fish come home. Whether it's surf music, rock or country this is the guitar, and what a blues monster it is, and she knows her way around the Punk stage! Let's not forget Johnny Ramone. A couple finish abrasions on the back of the neck, edge wear on the lower edge by the control knobs and on the upper edge along with some marking from the tremolo arm hitting the body.Wear marks on the lower and top edge as well as some dings and scratches that give it a real vintage look that we really love.
