The classic heritage cherry red lacquer finish is “the” finish for an SG. It has been aged by Tom Murphy and has all of the cool vibe that you would expect from a Murphy finish. The certificate was missing when we got it so we contacted Gibson and they confirmed that the guitar is a 2000 Murphy aged SG and that COAs were not issued in 2000. Super cool!
