Here is one of those guitars that dosen't come along very often, it is a 97 AAAA Flametop in the highly sought after Butterscotch/Lemon Burst burst R8 Les Paul in mint condition with the case. This is one of the ones with the gap between the pick guard and pickup ring due to Gibson making the pick guard from an original 50s blueprint revealing that Gibson had been placing the pickups wrong for years and has a 5 digit serial number! This guitar was also factory built with real CTS pots (R 1379725) that have a much better taper than the Gibson pots of the day. This guitar is almost magical one of the best Lesters you will ever play! ! Look it up in the last three vintage price guides and you will see that these have gone up in value at the rate of 8 to 9 hundred bucks a year and with good reason. These flamers are excellent "good wood" guitars and the build quality, playability and sound of this guitar is incredible. They are valued at quite a bit more than the newer ones (as seen in the price guide)! No issues and comes with the case. Low action, 57 classic calibrated pickups and a top that pictures don't do justice to, 8.6 lbs of pure tone. This is one of the prettiest and best Historics that I have come across and I have come across and played many.If you want a nice out of the ballpark r8 here it is!
