Gibson Les Paul Pro Deluxe 1978, the guitar is all original and is unmolested. Original P90 pickups sound warm and amazing, very minimal fretware and has a 1/16th action at the seventeenth fret, Very minor dings and marks as well as some finish wear along the edges. A hard to find vintage Les Paul Pro Deluxe in great condition, this guitar plays and sounds amazing. A 10.5 lb tone monster here. Comes with the original hardshell case. Essentially this model was the same as the "Standard" and the "Deluxe" but rather than having full-size or mini-humbuckers, it featured the coveted P90s to let the character of the heavy, solid mahogany body shine. The other stand-out difference of the Pro model is the ebony fretboard- a harder wood that adds more cut and bite through the mix. Otherwise, the model was nearly identical to the Standards and Deluxes of the time with Schaller/Gibson M-6 Tuners, Black Speed Knobs, 3-Piece Maple Neck, Bound Carved Maple Top, One-Ply Unbound Pickguard, Schaller/Gibson Nashville bridge, CTS pots, Switchcraft Jack & Toggle, 24.75" scale length and chrome hardware.
