Here at Guitar Bazaar we decided to do a line of guitars designed to give the player an instrument that could play, feel and sound like guitars costing thousands more at an affordable price without compromising quality parts. The Butterfly is built with the finest proven hardware and electronics! It is capable of mellow jazzy P-90 tones along with the ability to cut through the mix with "stinging" leads and vintage sounding crunch and bluesy neck tones. Yes even the scews had to be just right! The Butterfly sports an action that leaves here set to 1/16th (1.5 mm) inch off the seventeenth fret (maximum playability and speed) with D Addario 9s you may want to raise it, now isn't that a pleasant difference! Dual hand wound Stinger Pro P-90 pickups P-90 Dogear at the bridge measuring 8.2k and a P-90 Soapbar at the neck measuring 7.4k at the neck sound very similar to vintage 1950s P-90 pickups with a bit more punch at the bridge. QA Guitars Active Plus electronics with clean boos, tube overdrive low distortion and full gain positions. Bourns low friction pots roll off smooth and efficiently and the vintage Mallory caps are warm and creamy, couple that with the fact that each guitar is set up by hand for an amazing playability.
