Capable of cutting through the mix with powerful leads and vintage sounding crunch. While the Stinger S is attractively priced it is suitable for both stage and studio. The Stinger S has a 3" neck tenon and a 1 3/4" thick beveled edge mahogany body, improved neck angle and joint, tapered 50s style neck profile with a 16" inch radius and an action set to 1/16th (1.5 mm) off the seventeenth fret (maximum playability and speed) with D Addario 9s. A beveled edge mahogany body and maple neck with an African blackwood fingerboard with diamond and dot inlays. Black nut and custom made QA tuners. The hand wound QA Stinger P-90 pickup with AlNico 2 long magnets is voiced very similar to vintage late 50s to early 60s P-90s and the completely shielded cavities insure noise free playing. The Bourns low friction pots 500k volume and 250k tone roll off smooth and efficiently. Mallory .022 5% tolerance cap, pointer washers under the knobs, Gavitt braided wiring, Switchcraft output jack, D'Addario eliptical strap buttons, and set up by hand for an amazing playability.
