The Bumble Bee sports an action that leaves here set to 1/16th (1.5 mm) off the seventeenth fret (maximum playability and speed) with D Addario strings. A Mahogany body that is 1 3/4 " thick, and neck with an African Blackwood fingerboard that is the closest wood to Brazilian rosewood you can get with diamond and dot inlays. Hand made bone nut and custom made QA tuners. The hand wound Stinger P-90 pickup with plain enamel wire and AlNico 2 long magnets are voiced very similar to vintage late 50s to early 60s P-90s and the completely shielded cavities insure noise free playing. The Bourns low friction pots 500k or 250k volume (500kVintage tone 250k Modern tone) and 250k tone roll off smooth and efficiently and the tone is warm and creamy. Mallory .022 5% tolerance cap, pointers under the knobs, Gavitt braided wiring, Switchcraft output jack, D'Addario eliptical strap buttons, and set up by hand for an amazing playability.
